Do you play the comparison game for weight loss

Do you play the comparison game for weight loss

So many people trying to lose weight fall into a trap…

The comparison game.

It’s that tendency to compare yourself to other people – their bodies, their weight loss journey… and then see how you size up.

And while comparing yourself to others is something all humans do, it’s a recipe for disaster.

Especially when it comes to weight loss.

It erodes your confidence – and can lead to disappointment and confusion.

Because when you compare yourself to others, you almost always fall short. There will always be someone slimmer, fitter, or more successful than you.

And there will always be someone out there who’s dropping the weight quicker than you.

So instead of posting pics of stick-thin models in the name of motivation…

Or comparing yourself to your friend who’s seeing faster results…

Focus on YOU.

Everyone’s body is unique. Not everyone will get the same results in the same amount of time.

So stop thinking your body or weight loss journey should be a carbon copy of someone else’s…

And focus on your goals, your progress, and your wins.

Because if you stick to the plan, you will see results. But they’ll happen in a timeline that’s right for you.

ACTION STEP: This week, if you catch comparing yourself to others, come back to YOU. Remember your why and take stock of all the progress you’ve made so far.

Superfood Spotlight: Spinach 🍃

This leafy green packs a powerful nutritional punch. It’s rich in vitamins A, C, and K, as well as iron, magnesium, and calcium. In fact, a 100 mg serving offers 34% of the RDA for vitamin C!

It’s also packed with antioxidants, which help fend off harmful free radicals that can damage your cells.

Best of all, unlike some other leafy greens, spinach has a mild taste that’s easy to swallow. Whether you whip up a spinach salad or toss some in a smoothie, you can’t go wrong!
